A1. The fastest way to immigrate to Canada is through Express Entry. Express Entry is an online system that manages applications for permanent residence in Canada. You can create an Express Entry profile if you are eligible and submit your application online after you’ve received an invitation to apply.
A2. Processing times vary depending on the type of application, the number of applicants, and the volume of applications received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The IRCC website however, provides the processing times for each type of application, here’s the link.
A3. Most foreign nationals need a work permit to work in Canada. You may check the IRCC website to see if you are eligible for a work permit while your immigration application is being processed.
A4. You will need to provide various documents such as: passport, birth certificate, language test results, proof of funds, and any other documents requested by IRCC. Check the IRCC guide for the type of application and follow the document checklist to collect the documents required.
A5. It depends on the program you are applying for. The IRCC guidelines however, can change very quickly. So it is always best to consult with a Licensed Immigration Consultant for a more accurate answer.
A6. The amount of money you need to immigrate to Canada depends on the type of application you are submitting. Generally, you will need to prove that you have enough funds to support yourself and any family members who are coming with you.
A7. Yes, there are some restrictions on who can immigrate to Canada. First, you must be eligible for the program you apply to, and second, you need to be not inadmissible, which includes medical, criminal, and security clearances.
